Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter is connected with more drama. Dog’s daughter “Baby Lyssa” Chapman has just accused their former co-star, Justin Bihag, of a variety of offenses, including attempting to steal Beth Chapman’s ashes with the intent to sell them.
Beth passed away at the age of 51 after fighting a long and painful battle with stage 4 throat cancer. She was in and out of the hospital and had undergone aggressive chemotherapy after her cancer returned in November 2018. Some of Beth’s cancer journey was documented on Dog’s Most Wanted for WGN America. Beth was placed in a medically-induced coma by doctors for her own safety after experiencing severe pain from lack of oxygen. After days in a coma, Beth passed away at 5:32 am on June 26th in Hawaii. She left behind two children from previous relationships - Dominic Davis and Cecily Barmore Chapman - as well as two from her marriage with Dog - Garry and Bonnie Jo Chapman.
The Chapmans have had a very emotional year from the passing of Beth to the robbery of their store in Colorado and dealing with Dog’s health scare. Now there is even more drama adding to the already painful first holiday season without Beth. According to Pop Culture early Wednesday morning, Dog’s daughter and Beth’s step-daughter spoke out against their former co-star Bihag. In a series of tweets, she accused him of multiple things including taking advantage of Dog while he’s mourning. Often referred to as Dog and Beth’s “nephew” on the show, although he had zero blood relation to the family. In a series of now-deleted tweets, Lyssa wrote, “[Justin Bihag] had been harassing me for months. He’s a punk ass btch who’s using my dads vulnerability against him.” She continued, “[He] has tried to rob my family TO MANY TIMES. ALLYEE ALLYEE OX AND FREE YOU LITTLE BTCH.”
Then, Lyssa accused Bihag of attempting to steal her step-mother’s ashes. She tweeted, “[Justin] TRIED TO STEAL [Beth’s] ASHES FROM OUR FAMILY HOME. AND SELL THEM ON EBAY. WHAT YALL THINK ABOUT THAT ?!” She continued to bash Bihag, and doubled down on the accusations, writing, “They tried to seal [sic] many items from our home including [Beth’s] ashes. Amongst many other things I HATE THEM FOR.” When asked why she chose the holiday season to accuse Bihag, she explained, “I want him to be exposed.” Bihag since responded to the series of accusations from Lyssa with his own now-deleted tweets, accusing Lyssa of being intoxicated. He then defended his position in Dog’s life by writing that he’s with In now-deleted tweets, Bihag has since responded to the accusations, accusing Baby Lyssa of being intoxicated when she made them. He also defended his position in Dog’s life and did his best to brush off the incident.
Though it seems that Bihag is doing his best to move on from this situation, fans are wondering where these strong allegations came from and what was the intent behind “exposing” Bihag. It remains to be seen how this situation plays out, but it seems both Lyssa and Bihag have made his stance clear and it’s still unclear which Dog the Bounty Hunter alum is spreading the misinformation.
