Over the years, merchants have been able to beat off competition from competitors by offering consumers attractive sales terms that are supported by appropriate payment methods. One of these payment methods is the “Buy Now Pay Later” method which is becoming more popular, especially among online shoppers. This payment method now serves as an alternative to traditional credit cards and has helped improve the relationship between merchants and customers.

Zappos does not accept Affirm as a payment option. It however accepts Zip, formerly known as Quadpay, as a payment option.

    How Affirm Works

Loan Approval:- When Zip approves a loan, a customer is expected to pay an initial 25% of the price of goods purchased. He/she will then make payments in three installments every two weeks afterwards. The payment in the three other installments are usually collected from a customer’s credit/debit card account.

Interest Rate:- Zip offers interest-free repayment on small loan amounts. It offers 0% APR (Annual Percentage Rate) for a limited time.

Payment Of Late Fee:- Although Zip does not charge customers with interest, they do charge them with late payment fee when they don’t meet the repayment obligation in full by the due date.

Reward Point:- Zip does not reward customers with credit points. Customers can only earn points on their linked credit card. Refunds:- To get a refund for a product covered by a Zip purchase, a customer has to communicate directly with the merchant that product was purchased from. Zip will be notified as soon as the merchant processes the purchase. It will then refund the amount the customer has already paid and cancel any applicable future payment.

Benefit Of Shopping With Zip

Aside from the fact that it helps customers to make payments for costly products in the most affordable and flexible way, and merchants to reach a wider audience and drive sales, Zip also comes with a host of other benefits. Some of them include:

Zip gives customers easy access to a staggered payment plan and instantly approves financing for their purchases. There is no hard credit check for customers when they use Zip as a payment option. Customers don’t have to worry about damaging their credit score when they don’t pay on time. Zip does not charge customers with interest fees, account fees or commission. Zip supports automated repayments and sends customers emails and text messages to remind them of their payments so they don’t forget and get penalized with late payment fees.
